Privacy ♡

Your privacy

We use the details you send us to answer enquiries, prepare quotations and manage any accepted order, payment, collection or delivery. We use them because you have asked us to take steps towards a booking, to fulfil an order, meet legal duties and keep our website and records secure. We do not use enquiry or order details for marketing unless you make a separate choice.

Our main records are kept in the protected website system. A limited reporting copy may also be held through a private business cloud service for authorised Bad Boss Bakes access. It excludes raw enquiry messages, phone numbers, addresses, payment-card details and allergy or health information. Trusted hosting, email, payment, cloud-record and website-measurement suppliers may process only the information needed to provide their service. Some suppliers may process information outside the UK using recognised safeguards. Private exports are restricted and deleted when no longer needed.

Unsuccessful enquiries are normally deleted after 12 months. Order, invoice and payment-reference records may be kept for up to six years where needed for accounting, disputes or legal claims. Expiring protected backups may retain deleted records temporarily.

Cookies and website use

Necessary cookies protect forms, remember your privacy choice and support secure Studio sign-in. If you choose “Yes, help us improve”, optional analytics collect basic visit information such as pages viewed, how you reached the site, browser type, screen size and approximate location. This helps us understand and improve the website; it is not used for advertising personalisation.

Our optional analytics suppliers are Google Analytics and GoatCounter. One may place analytics cookies for up to two years; the other operates without placing analytics cookies. Your consent choice is remembered for up to 12 months. Optional analytics stay off if you decline, and you can change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

For security, limited server logs may include your IP address, requested page, time and browser details. These are normally deleted after about 14 days; shorter form and sign-in protection records are normally deleted after one day.

Your choices
